Wave of Inspiration: Lady Gaga's final tribute to Lee McQueen

Lady Gaga has finally paid her final tribute to Lee McQueen during the Brits Awards show. The whole performance is in white which I believe it represents the heaven in McQueen's world. In the first half of the performance while she is performing a slow version of Telephone, she is dressed in a big white dress with multiple layers. She has a big wig on which makes her looks like the women back in the 18th century and her face is covered with a lace mask. With this combination, she has transformed a gothic angel in the McQueen's world.

In the 2nd half of he performance, she strips down the big dress and now she is wearing a white lace body suit. The song she sings in this part is Dance in the Dark and I think is very appropriate for this occasion because to me, this song is always dark and full of hidden messages to the spirits. The dance moves in this part has totally reflected the monster side of her and I think Lady Gaga is trying to remind us that there is always this monster character inside McQueen's world.

There is also a Gaga statue during the whole performance and my eyes are always on the "lobster/alien" shoes from this S/S collection. Overall, I just feel like Lady Gaga has become McQueen's guardian angel in this performance and it has truly moved me. I am sure Lee must be so proud of her right now.

Rest in Peace, Lee Alexander McQueen.
