Trendology: Hermès Spring 2011 RTW Collection

No doubt that Hermès is going back to its horse riding heritage this season.  I do not need to further elaborate on how fabulous and elegant this collection is by Jean Paul Gaultier, so instead of looking at the overall collection, let's look at some highlights.

The most amazing rain wear I've ever seen. In Hermès, we are walking away from traditional rubbery raincoat, not even patent material, it is transparent crocodile material we're talking about here.  Skillfully tailored into a jacket with clean edges, this is definitely a revolution in rain wear.  Matching with the translucent Birkin bag, what more can you ask for?
