Ray of Inspirology: Alexnader McQueen S/S 2011 Promotion Campaign

This campaign gives me a mixed emotion and I think the photos have more meaning than just a campaign for this season.

These 2 photos are from Alexander McQueen latest campaign and the campaign features Sasha Pivovarova & Lindsey Wixson. When I look at the series, all I can think of is this: a tribute and rebirth of Alexander McQueen. The tribute part is all about the butterflies and as you can remember this has become one of the signatures for Alexander McQueen. The rebirth part is the flying motion of the butterflies and the dress created by Sarah Burton. To me, my favorite photo will lean towards Sasha's one since she can create the gloomy mood better than Lindsey here.
