Walk the Walk: Bottega Veneta F/W 2012 Menswear Collection

I am surprised to see Tomas Maier is going for such a bold collection this season and the result, perfect!

This collection is rather futuristic. The first half of the show is about colour blocking on suits and the hint of metallic add on is great. Then there comes the rocker series which I am in love with many of the jackets and the quilted denim pants. The fitting is going for a slim silhouette which I like it a lot. It looks like Tomas Maier is now pushing the menswear envelope for Bottega Veneta. What do you think?

Pros:
- The colour blocking on the suits is one of the highlights of this collection.
- The shoes are very cool, especially Tomas is making the high heel boots (and for the first time, I may consider to get a pair of loafers from this collection)
- I really like the details of the pieces, the metallic patch works really work well in this collection.
- Of course, I am in love with the silhouette. Slim fit is my cup of tea.

Cons:
- Not a big fan of the metallic blue/green/burgundy blazer, I just think it shouldn't use as the main material for this particular piece.

Eye Candies:
- The high heel boots
- The colour blocking blazers
- Black jacket with suede patchwork
