Walk the Walk: Chanel Cruise 2013 Collection

Karl Lagerfeld is taking inspiration from Marie Antoinette for this cruise collection and I have to say, I am quite impressed with it. Many of the pieces have a couture flare which I feel like Karl is trying for a more dramatic approach with this collection. Some of the outstanding pieces include all the floral print dresses and the brocade pattern dresses. Even though I don't think the sneakers should be pairing up with some of the outfits, I do have to say, they look pretty attractive!

Pros:
- I am always a fan of Marie Antoinette inspired collection, so this one has really captured my eyes.
- Many pieces have a touch of couture element, does that mean Karl is moving a dramatic approach for next season?
- I really like the colour palette, it makes the clothes look younger and more modern.
- The floral print series is what I like the most.

Cons: 
- Some of the pieces are like costumes and I doubt people are really going to wear them.
