The collection was called "Book Covers & Bruce Chatwin", which all graphics were inspired by acclaimed novelist and travel writer Bruce Chatwin. It's not the first time Bailey infused the art element into fashion, but this time, he did it flawlessly to bring the brand to a whole new level. The word print trench coat was great, so were the book cover print satchels.
Preppy British gentleman was still the main focus of this line, but this time, there were 2 major twists. Instead of dress shoes, the British gentleman would be wearing colourful sneakers to do his daily errands. At the same time, he liked to wear denim, possibly because he wanted to add a rock and roll flare to his wardrobe.
By combining graphics, denim and sneakers, the Burberry Prorsum man had evolved. He became very youthful, energetic, yet still carried the classic and elegant vibe.
Pros:
- It's great to see the denim series in this collection. The denim trench coat is without a doubt, the IT item.
- Truly appreciate how Christopher Bailey infuses illustrations into this collection.
- The book cover print satchel bags are fun to carry around in the S/S season.
- The word print scarf is a nice accessory to give your outfit a refreshing boost.

- Many of the silhouettes suit very well on people with small body frame.
- Because of the colour palette, the entire collection has a very strong cheerful and fun vibe.
Cons:
- I wish the satchel with the book cover print can come in a smaller size so many of us can use them as every day bag.
Eye Candies:

- Book cover print leather jacket
- Sneakers
- Travel Satchel in book cover print
- The books
