Walk the Walk: Thom Browne S/S 2016 Collection

When Japanese geisha meets American school girl, you get the Thom Browne S/S 2016 collection. Oh, and runway setting is upside down!

Just like the S/S 2016 menswear collection, the womenswear is heavily influenced by the Japanese artworks, and you can see them as patchworks on the jackets and pleaded skirts. Aside from clothes, the boots are also infused with the Japanese sandal (geta) design, which should be a popular street style item next season (and the fish bag). Also, can we talk about the upside down hair style and the hats? These 2 elements add a nice surreal touch to the show!

In my opinion, this collection is probably the most wearable one Thom has ever created fro his brand.
