Ray of Inspirology: Flaming The Passion

I can never get enough of Hedi Slimane's works since each piece is simply an art work!

For this latest issue of Vogue Japan (formerly known as Vogue Nippon), he has done another amazing editorial featuring Anna Selezneva. The images have a strong retro vibe and I am loving the clothes picked by Mika Mizutani. I feel like Hedi's style has started to evolve again as the photos are crisper and bolder with the addition of colors. Do you think so?

Ray of Inspirology: Uptown and Down

This is one stunning editorial from the latest issue of V Magazine.

Shot by Mario Testino, this spread features a stunning cast of models and they are Carmen Kass, Sashcha Pivovarova, Freja Beha and Anna Selezneva. The shoot is divided into 2 sets: indoor and outdoor. Personally, I am more attracted to the indoor set more because of the dramatic effect and the models look more classy and glamourous. The outdoor set is fun which it gives a more urban and youthful vibe. For both sets, Sarajane Hoare the stylist has done an amazing job on the weapons of choice (i.e clothes). Ray of Inspirology: Emporio Armani S/S Promotion Campaign

I always want to see how will a shoot turn out if curved mirrors are being the main prop for the shoot. Now  Mario Sorrenti has done a very good example for me to follow. In the latest promotion campaign for Emporio Armani, Sean O'pry and Anna Selezneva are posing in front of the curved mirrors. You can definitely see the interesting effect the mirror has caused for this shoot and I find the photos to be very beautiful. It's urban, it's edgy and is also classy!
