Ray of Inspirology: Pastel Puppet

The Louis Vuitton exhibition is happening now in Paris and a lot of magazines have done a little tribute to this brand and of course, Marc Jacobs. In the latest issue of Elle Italia, Giovanni Squatriti creates an editorial based on the Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 collection. Alexa Yudina, with the help of makeup artist Adalberto Pezzaioli, has transformed into a porcelain doll and to be honest, I find that a little bit creepy. I really like the background and it helps to enhance the summery vibe of the collection. What do you think?

This editorial is all about sunglasses!

Shot by Alexei Hay, this editorial features Hana Soukupova to showcase the hottest sunglasses in this S/S 2011 season. The photos are very fun to look at and of course, my favorite has to be the Prada Baroque Sunglasses. Now I would love to do a shoot with multiple sunglasses on a model's face... It looks fun!

Ray of Inspirology: Crazy Coco

Since Coco Rocha is the guest editor for the latest issue of Elle Italia, I am not surprised to see a few great editorials from her.

Here is one of the editorials she has shot for this issue of the magazine and the photographer here is Matt Jones. Alberto Zanoletti, the stylist, has done an amazing job for this shoot and the  fashion pieces on Coco are stunning. I am happy to see the funky side of Coco Rocha in this set and no matter what she does in front of the camera, she is always very beautiful.

In the latest issue of Elle Italia, Chanel Iman has a very nice editorial which is shot by Matt Jones. The series is very playful and you can see the fun side of Chanel. To me, the composition is very experimental but the final result is very pleasant.

Ray of Inspirology: Contact Couture

Italian Magazines just never disappoint me with their editorials. In this April issue of Elle Italia, Matt Jones has done a sporty, high fashion shoot featuring Suzanne Diaz. I like how this shoot has blended the fashion and American football elements so well together to make me feel comfy look at the photos. This is definitely a great inspiration for photographers and stylists.

Ray of Inspirology: Lookbook

The following editorial is like a portfolio for a photographer. It has everything you need to show the photographer agencies (agency models, high fashion, indoor shoot, outdoor shoot, color photos and black and white photos).

This shoot is done by Michael Sanders for Elle Italia and featuring Valerie Van Der Graaf, Vanessa Hessler, Charon Cooijmans, and Anna K.. All the models are dressed up in the latest S/S collection and all I have to say is, if that's portfolio, I will be having a lot of happy tears because many of the photos here are very strong.
