Here is your weekly Draw A Dot. recap!
Last week, 3 illustrators had the opportunity to meet with Coco Rocha and they illustrated a few pieces from her S/S 2016 Co+Co by Coco Rocha collection. It was a fantastic experience and the illustrations are simply lovely! [Read Here]

Gerardo always wows me with his works but I do believe this one is his best to date! The illustration is inspired by the Marc Jacobs F/W 2016 collection and it is very dark and edgy. I love the contrast between the whimsical figures and the dark clothing collection! [Read Here]

Fashionist[On The Go]: Yorkdale's New Face!
As promised, this segment will remain and now let's get into some interesting stories of this week!
Yorkdale has a new face for the F/W campaign and she is none other than Canadian-born top model Coco Rocha! I think she is the perfect choice for this campaign as the mall is getting ready for a new chapter with new flagship stores and more high end fashion choices for the public. What do you think? [Read Here]
In case you are a big fan of Massimo Dutti, I have good news for you! The first North American store has opened in Toronto and I really like the shopping environment in there. If you are going to do shopping at Toronto Eaton Center one day, make sure you drop by the store. [Read Here]

Fashionist[On The Go]: Too Thin. Too Controversial.
;lfafalkdjsfasd
If your dream is to be a supermodel, then read this: You might be too big for some shows. Coco Rocha has recently appeared on the Anderson show to talk about the modeling world. Well people now consider her to be too thin now, do you agree? [Read Here]
I know this rule will come sooner than later since some of the fashion ads are actually crossing the line right now. Britain's Advertising Standards Authority has created a law to ban any sexual advertisements to be near the school area. I think this is a good idea. What do you think? [Read Here]
Come back next week for another edition of Fashionist [On The Go].

Is she too thin now? According to my friend who saw her during FNO, yes she is. (source: The Fashionist)

Ray of Inspirology: Diet Coke 2011 Promotion Campaign by Karl Lagerfeld
Karl Lagerfeld once again collaborates with Coca Cola for a limited collection diet Coke bottle (well, 3 bottles actually) and of course, Karl has to shoot a promotion campaign for this special project.
This time, Karl has picked Coco Rocha (once again) , Jeneil Williams and Heidi Mount to be the muses for this campaign. The images have a strong retro feeling and they are very clean and crisp. I am actually very surprised Mr. Baptiste is not in this series, maybe he is hiding somewhere in the photos?

Wave of Inspiration: Jean Paul Gaultier Retrospective
As many of you may know, starting on June 17 (till Ocbtober 2, 2011) Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is going to have a Jean Paul Gaultier Retrospective exhibit. Yes, I am super excited about this event and hoping to check out this exhibit before October. As for now, you can take a look at this behind the scene video of Coco Rocha dressed in some of the iconic JPG pieces from the past 35 years. This editorial is now featured in the latest issue of Elle Quebec.
I am truly in love with Jean Paul Gaultier's collections!

Ray of Inspirology: Crazy Coco
Since Coco Rocha is the guest editor for the latest issue of Elle Italia, I am not surprised to see a few great editorials from her.
Here is one of the editorials she has shot for this issue of the magazine and the photographer here is Matt Jones. Alberto Zanoletti, the stylist, has done an amazing job for this shoot and the fashion pieces on Coco are stunning. I am happy to see the funky side of Coco Rocha in this set and no matter what she does in front of the camera, she is always very beautiful.

Ray of Inspirology: Nomad
You can never go wrong with Coco Rocha in an editorial!
This spread is photographed by Alan Gelati and it is featured in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar Russia. Natalia Alaverdian has done a great job on styling Coco. The clothing combination is very fresh and Coco works the out very well. I am also loving how Alan composites some of the photos! A very nicely down editorial!

Ray of Inspirology: Íconos de una era
As a fan of Coco Rocha, I cannot help but write about this editorial here.
This spread is shot by Tesh and it is featured in the latest issue of Vogue México. In here, Tesh is going for a contrast theme: trashy background with elegant clothes. As usual, Coco has an edgy attitude that captures my heart and my favorite photo of this series is the face shot.
I am so happy to see her to be the cover of this issue of Vogue México and hope there will be more to come!

Fashionist[On The Go]: LOVE, Coco Rocha's Wedding and Victoria's Secret Opening
It's time for me to pick up some interesting stories from the Fashionist that I have not talked about on this blog. Well, let's start with this:
LOVE is finally releasing it's latest issue soon these are the 8 covers you can choose from. Every model here has a different character so you can pick whoever suits your taste the most. My pick will have to be these three: Agyness Deyn, Alessandra Ambrosio and Buela the Doll (this is the surprise!). All covers are shot by Mert and Marcus (now this scores bonus point for me) [Read Here]

Coco Rocha has recently released the wedding video of her wedding and I am so touched after watching it. This is the wedding video I am always hoping to see. It is truly beautiful and the videographers have done an amazing job capturing the newlyweds expressions. (This is something I don't usually put on the blog and now I feel my blog is complete because of this section! Watch the 19 minutes version for more touching moments.) [Read Here]
It's always a wish for many girls here to have a Victoria's Secret store next to their houses and this wish is finally granted. The first Victoria's Secret store is finally opened in Toronto and the angels Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton and Chanel Iman are there for the opening event. Christopher Turner, the editor of The Fashionist, has a chance to interview with the three angels and you should definitely check it out. [Read Here for the opening event/ Read Here for the interview]
Welcome Angels and I will be avoiding Yorkdale this weekend (source: The Fashionist)
This is the roundup I have for you for now. Come back next Friday at 11am for some new interesting stories I pick from The Fashionist.

Ray of Inspirology: Karl Lagerfeld x Coca Cola Light Promotion Campaign
As you may already know, Karl has done a collaboration project with Coca Cola to produce the Coke light bottle. The promotion campaign for this project has recently hit the web and I think it is very "Chanelish". It is plain, simple (except that splash of shocking pink color) and Coco Rocha and Baptiste expression are fun to look at. Now I am wondering who will be the next designer to collaborate with Coca Cola. Prada, pretty please?
