Wave of Inspirology: Boys and Girls of Fashion Week by Justin Wu

Justin Wu pretty much made my day today with this amazing video he shot for Vogue Paris. Fashion + music + a little bit of artistic background, how can you go wrong with this combination?

The models in the video were all lip-syncing Do You Want To by Franz Ferdinand and the footages were captured in Milan, Paris, Beijing and New York. The video was filled with energy and it was great to see some of the models dressed in high fashion pieces.

Some of the familiar faces you can identify immediately include Kate King, Fei Fei Sun, Shu Pei, Sui He and River Viiperi.

Now this video is a good way to let me get ready for fashion week here. What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: Valentino S/S 2012 Campaign

Deborah Turbeville has shot quite an amazing campaign for Valentino.

This campaign features Bette Franke, Fei Fei Sun, Maud Welzen, Zuzanna Bijoch, Clement Chabernaud and I have to admit, it took me sometime to be fully absorbed by this campaign. The images are very peaceful and I feel like I am walking in a dream. The composition is great and the setting is making everything so dreamy. At this moment, I just cannot get enough this amazing series.

Ray of Inspirology: Louis Vuitton F/W 2011 Promotion Campaign Wave 2

Here is the wave 2 of  Louis Vuitton F/W promotion campaign!

The newly released campaign includes models Fei Fei Sun, Nyasha Matonhodze and Gertrud Hegelund. Once again, the campaign is shot by Steven Meisel and the whole set is full of Hollywood classic movie vibe. The campaign is simply classy and elegant. I think this campaign will be one of the classic ads for this fashion house. What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: Pret-A-Porter

It's only July but Magazines are already showcasing what you need to have for the F/W season! In the latest issue of Vogue Italia, Steven Meisel has shot an editorial featuring Juliane Grüner, Anaïs Pouliot, Sun Fei Fei, Antonia Wesseloh, Emily Baker, Kelly Mittendorf and Josephine Skriver. I like the purple tint in this editorial and also the energy the models are giving out here. Overall, it is a very youthful and stunning series! My favorites are the Prada shot, Marc Jacobs shot and the Gucci glove shot. What about you?

Ray of Inspirology: The Power of Glamour

This is the first 2011 editorial that has blown me away!

This set is shot by Steven Meisel and it is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Italia. The models are Arizona, Freja, Anais, Fei Fei, Hereith and Kinga and they are all styled by Karl Templer. The fashion pieces suit the editorial very well and the concept of it is very creative and brilliant. I find this set to be very refreshing and my eyes will not be tired of seeing the photos over and over again.

Truly a master piece of Steven Meisel! Bravo!

Ray of Inspirology: Paoula Kudacki for i-D Winter 2010

I am totally falling in love with this amazing editorial by Paoula Kudacki!

This spread is featured in the latest issue of i-D and the models here are Ashley Smith, Fei Fei Sun, Ann Kenny and Linn Arvidsson. Havana Laffitte, the stylist for this shoot, has done a flawless job by transforming these models into beautiful and edgy ladies. The light and the photo processing technique have reminded me the  Renaissance period and I love this feeling a lot!

This is definitely one of the best editorials in this month.
