Dots[Connection]: The Mutant Cards!

Here is your weekly Draw A Dot. recap!

The Giambattista Valli S/S 2015 Ready To Wear illustration open call is happening right now so make sure you don't miss this chance if you are an illustrator (or pass this around if you know any good illustrators)! Good luck!

The Mutant Series is finally coming to an end and here is the last set. In here, Roberto illustrates his version of Iris Van Herpen S/S 2015 mutant, while Svetlana goes all dark with the Gareth Pugh S/S 2015 collection. I love this series a lot and am planning to do it again for another season!  [Read Here]

Dots[Connection]: Superpower!

Here is your weekly Draw a Dot. recap!

The 2nd part of the Mutants series is finally here! Roberto and Svetlana have each created another mutant inspired by Gareth Pugh/ Comme des Garcons S/S 2015 collection. One of them is mysterious, while the other one is full of fire! [Read Here]

There is always a soft spot for me for the Alexander McQueen VOSS (S/S 2001) runway show. It is romantic, haunting, and the girls are very vulnerable. In this illustration, Diana illustrated one of the looks and it invites the viewers to think what is really going on inside this McQueen girl's mind. [Read Here]

Dots[Connection]: The Trinity

Here is your weekly Draw A Dot. recap!

Here comes a brand new series! For this mini project, I invited Roberto Sánchez and Svetlana Makarova to each create 3 cards based on 3 S/S 2015 collections (Iris Van Herpen, Comme des Garcons, and Gareth Pugh). Here is part 1 featuring Comme des Garcons and Iris Van Herpen. [Read Here]

The celebration of Draw A Dot.'s 2nd anniversary continues with this lovely piece! This illustration is created by Shamekh and I really love the idea behind it. To me, every firefly in here represents an artist who has contributed his/her works to the site. Stunning!  [Read Here]

Last week, I showed my favourite 9 Givenchy S/S 2015 illustrations on Draw A Dot. Instagram account. This is one of the final pieces, and I am in love with the surreal world created by Mahyar Kalantari. This piece has gained so much buzz that even Riccardo Tisci liked it! Bravo! [Read Here]

Dots[Connection]: Happily Ever After?

Here is your weekly Draw A Dot. recap! It's all about whimsical illustrations!

The last part of New Old Tales is finally here. In this scene, Rapunzel, in Alexander McQueen F/W 2014 and Alice, in Dolce & Gabbana F/W 2014,  are having a very interesting relationship. In general, I am in love with this series, and hopefully one day I can work with Svetlana again on another amazing project!  [Read Here]
