Ray of Inspirology: Iris Strubegger For Vogue Russia January 2011

One of the models who I am always looking forward to see in magazine's editorial is Iris Strubegger. In the latest issue of Vogue Russia, she has one amazing editorial and I am totally loving it.

This spread is shot by Francois Nars and I am loving the fashion pieces and make up on Iris. The lighting for this shoot is very experimental and the result is very pleasant. Once again, I am very attracted to her beautiful eyes and I really wish one day I could shoot a mode like this in the future.

This series is shot by Sharif Hamza and it is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Russia. Here, Ashley Smith is styled by Simon Robins and she looks like a royalty elite with a modern twist. I love the background and the light set up as these 2 elements create a moody and classy feeling.

In the latest issue of Vogue Russia, Jason Kibbler has done an amazing spread featuring Pauline van der Cruysse. The clothes here fit so well with the edgy and cool look and I can't get enough of Pauline's attitude in this series. Major props go to the makeup and hair team and also the stylist!

Ray of Inspirology: Vogue Russia September Issue - Jewellery

We've seen enough beautiful super models from magazines, this editorial from Vogue Russia gives us some refreshing and cute idea. They put jewellery on this little piglet and this cute little one is winning everyone's heart! Instead of having the models being all styled up to match the jewellery, the natural pink on the pig just goes right with all the jewellery and gives fashion jewellery an entirely different mood.

This piggy just melted my heart!!! And I have to say they did an amazing job on catching just the right expressions from the eyes. Very expressive.

After looking at this editorial, the word cool just pops out in my mind.

This spread is shot by Sharif Hamza for Vogue Russia and the models are Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Dree Hemingway, Jeneil Williams, Sedene Blake, Ylonka Verheul, Coco Rocha and Patricia van der Vliet. The blue tint has created the mood of the photos and the colors of the clothes work very well with the background. It is not easy to shoot group shots like this so I am very impressed with Sharif's planning for all the shots I see here.

Ray of Inspirology: Josh Olins For Vogue Russia May 2010

Here comes another Josh Olins editorial and I am so excited to show this to you.

This spread is featured in the May issue of Vogue Russia and the model here is Anna Jagodzinska. Val Garland, the makeup artist and Lucinda Chambers & Michelle Duguid are making Anna so fierce and futuristic with the choice of makeup and clothing. When I look at the photos, anger is the emotion that can associate to this spread in my mind. Once again, Josh Olins does a very good job on capturing Anna's anger side and he never disappoints me with his images.
