Ray of Inspirology: A Tiger Never Loses Sleep Over the Opinion of Sheep

Even though Stella Tennant is in her 40s, her modelling career is still going so strong. Recently, she has teamed up with Josh Olins to shoot his editorial.

These images are featured in the latest issue of i-D and Stella is the kung fu master here. I like the styling in this editorial as each piece reflects the sporty side of the model. I am also pleasantly surprised by how this pair of Celine sandals works so well with all the outfits!

Ray of Inspirology: Swept Away

Oh, this spread is so romantic!

Josh Olins shoots this amazing editorial for the latest issue of Vogue Japan and it features Jourdan Dunn and Daria Strokous. The girls are styled by Giovanna Battaglia and some of the brands I can identify instantly include Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Prabal Gurung and Dolce & Gabbana. I am absolutely in love with the setting as the beach gives me a very breezy feeling when looking at the images.

What do you think of this spread?

Ray of Inspirology: United Colors of Benetton F/W 2011 Promotion Campaign

United Colors of Benetton is always one of the campaigns I am most looking forward to see every season and this F/W season does not disappoint me at all. Shot by Josh Olins, the models in this campaign are Ashika Pratt, Christelle Yn, Christian Larsson, Christine Sofie Johansen, David Adrian Mattatall, Henry Pedro Wright, Jack Lyons , Lara Troskot, Luiz Jea Sang, Marcin Wm, Noemi Sunshine Ferst, Risha Phukan and Yolanda Thein. The series has a very warm and retro vibe which I like a lot! Check out more photos after the jump.

Ray of Inspirology: If You Were a Library Book, I'd Check You Out...

What a strange title of this editorial but the photos here are stunning!

This series is shot by Josh Olins for the latest issue of i-D. As per usual, Raquel Zimmermann is looking flawlessly in the images. The shadow in the images is making the series more dramatic which I really like. of course, Alastair McKimm has done a really good job for selecting the clothes for this shoot. My favorite shot of this series is the Givenchy one (is sexy and tasteful). Which one is your favourite?

Ray of Inspirology: Full Metal Glamour

It's been a long time since I talked about Josh Olin's editorials and finally he has produced this shinny series for Vogue China!

At this moment, I still cannot believe metallic color is one of the major trends in this S/S season (I thought it would be the main trend for F/W season) and in this series Guinevere van Seenus has worn some of the best metallic pieces from different designer houses. Josh always shoot some crisp and clean images and this editorial is no exception. The lighting and composition are great here.

On a side note, the more I look at the Miu Miu piece, the more I start to fall in love with it, that's the magic of Miuccia Prada.

Ray of Inspirology: Josh Olins For Vogue Russia May 2010

Here comes another Josh Olins editorial and I am so excited to show this to you.

This spread is featured in the May issue of Vogue Russia and the model here is Anna Jagodzinska. Val Garland, the makeup artist and Lucinda Chambers & Michelle Duguid are making Anna so fierce and futuristic with the choice of makeup and clothing. When I look at the photos, anger is the emotion that can associate to this spread in my mind. Once again, Josh Olins does a very good job on capturing Anna's anger side and he never disappoints me with his images.

Ray of Inspirology: Shape Of The Future

Josh Olins, if you ever need an extra assistant, please let me know because I will be very happy to do it! Your different kinds of shooting style have definitely amazed me!

In the latest issue of VMAN, Josh has done an editorial spread featuring Axel Brorson. This is very different than the Benetton campaign shoot he has done awhile back. In there, the photos are more edgy, dark and intense. I can see a hint of blue tint here and I love this kind of subtle effect to create a more dramatic mood for the shoot.

Ray of Inspirology: Rebirth Of Nature

Josh Olins is definitely on fire in my photographer book. Recently he has done an editorial shoot for Vogue Hommes Japan Spring/Summer issue and it has blown my mind. The model here is Julius Gerhardt  and I love the styling of Nicola Formichetti and of course, the props from Andrea Cellerino has definitely spiced up the shoot! This makes me want to do a shoot like this right now.

Ray of Inspirology: Push It Real Good

Recently, I am really in love with all the editorial shoots that Josh Olins has done and in the latest issue of V Magazine, he has Liya Kebede and Lily Donaldson in this shoot. I like the bold and edgy feeling from these photos and even though the background is still white, this shoot has a totally different mood than the Benetton campaign (that one is happier, this one is more serious).

Ray of Inspiration: Cyber Tribe, Vogue UK, March 2010

Metamorphic prints and ergonomic cuts create a species of glamazon that is out of this world.

That's the subtitle of this shoot in the March issue Vogue in UK. Another amazing work after the Benetton S/S 2010 Campaign and of course, The Amsterdam Chainsaw Massacre, Photographer Josh Olins produced another stunning piece. By having these clothing and accessories together, he successfully created the feeling of cyber, out of space, or maybe creatures from outer space. It also gives me an impression of Avatar fashion.

Ray of Inspirology: Benetton S/S 2010 Promotion Campaign

Every season, Benetton's promotion campaign is one of my must look because the photos are always so cheering and full of energy. This season by Josh Olins is not exception and some of the photos just become my instant favorite.

Here are my favorites and if you want to see the full campaign, you can check it out here.

Ray of Inspirology: The Amsterdam Chainsaw Massacre

Viktor & Rolf's spring summer collection has to be one of the most interesting collections I have seen in the first half of 2010. If you haven't seen the collection, fear not, because in the latest issue of Dazed and Confused,  Josh Olins has done an editorial shoot featuring Magdalena Frackowiak. I really like this shoot because Katie Shillingford, the stylist has used the Flower Bomb commercial look as one of the inspirations.

If you want to see interesting dresses, I do recommend you to take a look at this editorial shoot. I would love to take any of the dresses below and do an interesting shoot myself.
