Ray of Inspirology: Vogue 120

This is the first time in years my jaw dropped when first looking at this Vogue editorial.

The title of this editorial is called Vogue 120 and basically it lists all the most influential people in the fashion industry at the current moment. Of course, the designers and models below are part of the elite group and photographer Norman Jean Roy has completely nailed the assignment! What do you think?

You can read the entire article here (with few more photos).

Graphicology: Spiros Halaris x Maria Luisa Paris x The Corner

I love when illustrator continues to evolve his/her style and Spiros Halaris is one of the good examples.

Recently, Halaris has collaborated with Maria Luisa Paris and The Corner to promote the new S/S 2012 collections on the online store.  I find Halaris' style has changed and the images become very edgy, with a hint of futuristic vibe. I really like what I am seeing here and below are 6 of the images from this series. You can click here to see the complete set.

Bravo Mr. Halaris, can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

Walk the Walk: Erdem S/S 2012 Collection

Erdem presented a very beautiful collection during the S/S 2012 London Fashion Week.

Once again, the whole collection was consisted of a lot of floral print pieces. The blue floral print was probably my top favourite as it somehow reminded me of the porcelain texture. There were also a few sheer pieces and they worked very well with the floral prints. Overall, this whimsical and elegant collection had all the Erdem signature elements so all Erdem fans should be leaving this show with a smile on their faces.

Pros:
- The pastel colour palette is very refreshing and make every piece looks very light and whimsical.
- The floral print has become the signature the of Erdem collection and I like the blue floral print a lot!
- The accessories are something you do not want to miss out in this collection. The heels!

Cons:
One piece reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana S/S 2011 collection

Eye Candies:
- Blue floral print dress with sheer sleeves
- Yellow/green floral print pants
- Nude floral print trench coat

Trendology: Erdem Pre Fall 2011 Collection

Even though flora prints still present in this collection, a new pattern has totally captured my heart!

In Erdem's latest pre fall collection, a firecracker print is introduced. It is very colorful and it makes you feel the joy of Fall. The main color theme for this collection is blue, red and black. Out of all the pieces, my most favorite one will be the blue lace dress. Overall, a very solid and classy collection and I am sure Carey Mulligan will be wearing some of the pieces in the up coming red carpet events!

Here are my favorites and you can click here to see the complete collection.
