Ray of Inspirology: Midas Touch

The editorials in September issue Vogue UK are pretty stunning and this one particularly has a special place in my heart. The series is shot by Nick Knight and it features some of the top UK designers' pieces and UK top models as well. I am always a fan of Lily Cole, David Gandy and Stella Tennant so it's great to see them in this wonderful editorial.

What a show down!

For the latest issue of Antidote Magazine, Jan Welters has the chance to shoot 8 amazing super models and they are Bianca Balti, Naomi Campbell, Malgosia Bela, Eva Herzigova, Lindsey Wixson, Aymeline Valade, Natasha Poly and my favourite model Saskia de Brauw. All the models are styled by Yann Weber and let me tell you , I am in love with all the white pieces. I really like the black and white contrast, which at this moment, I still cannot take my eyes off this amazing series.

Wave of Inspirology: Girl Panic!

Let's just take 10 minutes to watch this fashion music video.

Duran Duran has recently released the music video for the latest single, Girl Panic! and it is directed by Jonas Akerlund. What so fun about this video is Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin LeBon, Helena Christensen are transformed as the members of the band and they even grace the cover of the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. The main selling point of this video is the pieces these models are wearing and I can assume you Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain and Louis Vuitton have made the list. If you have good eyes, you can even catch 2 designers in the video too.

Ray of Inspirology: Naomi Campbell by Seb Janiak

Android Naomi? Yes please!

This little series is shot by a French photographer/artist named Seb Janiak. He will be releasing his photo book soon and this editorial will be included in it. I really like how surreal Naomi Campbell looks in the images. That glossy effect is totally capturing my heart. If A.I robot is going to be produced in the future, I think the company can use her face as a blueprint. What do you think?

People in NYC, are you ready for Fashion Night Out yet?

As you know, tonight in New York City, a lot of boutiques will participate the Fashion Night Out event. Dolce & Gabbana is one of the participants and the fashion house has decided to released a collection of Naomi Campbell tee shirts. The photos on the shirt are shot by famous photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein and David LaChapelle. For all the Naomi fans out there, she will be making an appearance at the store on Madison Avenue to sign the tees. If you cannot make it to the event this Friday, do not worry because this collection will be on sale worldwide in the very near future.

I hope all Naomi fans will get what they want.

Ray of Inspirology: i-D Pre-Fall 2010 Then Now Next Cover

I rarely just talk about magazine cover before seeing the editorials inside, but for this one, I have broken the rule.

Here are the 3 covers for the new issue of i-D and they are all shot by Nick Knight. The models here are (if you really have no clue) Kate Moss, Lady Gaga and Naomi Campbell. I really love the black and white effect here with the pink logo to make the covers look very fresh and clean. All 3 models have definitely delivered here but my eyes are constantly going back to Kate Moss and I believe is the L composition that is doing the magic here.

Willy Vanderperre has done a very classy editorial shoot for Naomi Campell in the latest issue of Russian Vogue. As usual, Naomi does a great job with posing and with the black and white effects on some photos, the shoot just becomes flawless.

There is no doubt this supermodel is irreplaceable.
