Trenodology: Borsalino for Crystal Lovers

Mad Hatter just popped up in my head as I saw this blue crystal hat by Borsalino for Crystal Lovers.  This hare hair hat is made with multi coloured Swarovski crystals and gros grain hat band. I'm not so crazy over hats, but this one certainly amused me with the colours, so whimsical.  Borsalino did not offer us only 1 fabulous hat.  Another one that isn't so fanciful as it's entirely black.  Instead, it gives a rather jazzy mood with the satin face and the crystals covering the hat band.

Trendology: Crystal Lovers - Roberto Cavalli Dress

Luisaviaroma is working with a group of leading designers from around the world,  featuring Swarovski Elements and artist Felice Limosani.  The project is called The Crystal Lovers.  Out of that much of fantastic designs, I have my eyes on this dress by Roberto Cavalli.  Made out of silk and mesh-like fabric, and of course Swarovski Crystals are used to bring out the luxurious and elegance of the dress.  I love it, and it's available at Luisaviaroma for CAD$20040.62.  Now we all know how luxury it is.

Trendology: 22 Ways to Say Black

All girls know how important it is to have a little black dress in their wardrobe.  Yet, finding a right one isn't as easy as you thought.  Swarovski Element had commissioned a house of 22 fashion designers to design their special little black dress with the crystal studs - 22 Ways to Say Black. This charity auction event is created by French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, which benefits the American Cancer Society and the France-based La Ligue Nationale Contre le Cancer.  The dresses will be displayed in New York starting Spetember 7th til September 20th.

Dresses are designed by the well known designers like Givenchy, Armani, Sonia Rykiel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and Lanvin.  With some of the most creative and talented designers in house, black is no longer boring, and with the crystals, anything is possible with these Little Black Dress.
