It is only the first month of January and we at à la mode has already opened 2 new sections for this year. First up, we worked with Whatever... Eurotrash as part of our 12 Months of Pop Up Flavors. For this collaboration, we have created a new section called Fashion[Re]wind which we talk about the glory moments of some of the brands in the 90s and 00s. Brands we have covered in this month include Swatch, FCUK, and Von Dutch. If you want to know what is Eurotrash girl going to write next, make sure you stay tuned to her blog!
After a year, we think it is time for the runway show reviews to have their own section so we have created the Walk the Walk. Because of this new section, the entries also have new format. Now we will tell you what we like from this collection and also what we do not like. Feel free to read them over and drop us a comment on what you think of the collections!
As for the [Un]Discovers section, this month we have 4 amazing features and they are Vesa Sammalisto, a great illustrator who has his works on Monocle; Spencer Nikosey, the founder and designer of KILLSPENCER; Robin Rotenier, the designer behind Rotenier; and Tze Goh, an emerging fashion designer from London!
