Last year, Romain Jerome created the Space Invader watch and it was beautiful. This year, The company has decided to continue the gaming legacy by introducing Pac Man watches! There are 4 version to it (colour ghosts with red cherry, colours ghost with black cherries, black ghosts and cherries, black ghosts and red cherries). Each version is limited to 20 pieces and at a price of $17,900, I am pretty sure the watch will be sold out very soon!

Thom Browne has finally arrived at ssense and my eyes cannot stop looking at this amazing doctor bag. I really like the simple design and also the capacity of the bag. Thom Browne's items are always expensive so I am not surprised this bag costs more than $3600.

Wave of Inspirology: Lanvin F/W 2012 Video Campaign

"I eat a lot of frozen blueberry."

The new Lanvin video is out and it just puts a smile on face. As you know, the  Lanvin team has scouted real people to model the clothes in this campaign and this video is basically a documentary of these people. You will know about their hobbies, backgrounds and also some fun facts. Definitely an inspirational piece.

Ray of Inspirology: Missioni F/W 2012 Promotion Campaign

Missoni latest campaign is giving me a very warm and calm feeling and this is exactly what I need at the moment.

The campaign shot by Mark Borthwick, and it features Guinevere Van Seenus and Fabian Schweitzer. I quite like the outdoor setting as it somehow creates a contrast between the clothes and the scene. Again, it gives you a calm feeling and I have a feeling the brand just wants you to achieve your ZEN stage when wearing this collection.

Time[less]: Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Tourbillon

Jaquet Droz has produced one amazing tourbillon watch lately. The design of the watch is simple and I love the tourbillon is like floating above the time dial. This watch has 2 versions: 18k white gold and 18k rose gold. You can check out aBlog ToRead for the review of this watch.

Few years ago I was introduced to Nick Cave's SoundSuits and ever since I have been hoping some editorials will incorporate  the suits with high fashion pieces. The day has finally come and this editorial shot by Max Farago is simply stunning.  The entire series is very fun and I like the combinations between the clothes and the SoundSuits. What do you think?

Artology: Lanvin presents "Splash" Windows

The Lanvin F/W 2012 collection is stunning and I am so glad the Lanvin stores have also decided to create special window displays for it. Every display is decorated with paint splash to create a mood. As in what kind of mood, it will depend on how you interpret it. To me, the overall theme is quite haunting. What do you think?

Trendology: Head Porter Wing Tip Series

I have been a fan of wing tip shoes and now Head Porter has decided to use this element on the accessories!

This collection consists of some coin purses and wallets. I like the black and brown colour combination as it gives a classic feeling to the pieces. Will you consider to buy this collection?

Ray of Inspirology: Manège Couture

I have to say, I often enjoy seeing Karl Lagerfeld's photos when they are in black and white and the following editorial is just another good example to prove my point.

In the latest issue of Numero, Karl shoots some of his favourite models (Karlie Kloss, Daria Strokous, Lindsey Wixson, Edie Campbell, Saskia De Brauw, and Kati Nescher) in a spread styled by Rebecca Bleynie & Vanessa Metz. All models are dressed in haute couture pieces (that JPG 3D corset will be a new iconic piece) and Karl does a very good job by capturing the best poses of the models. I feel like some of the images a very timeless and can definitely use them as art pieces. What do you think?

Trendology: Mugler White Tiger Print Blazer

Out of all the Mugler pieces I have seen in this season, I think this piece is probably my favourite. I like the white tiger print, especially the black strokes help to emphasize the waist area (you can see the black strokes gather together at that area). I also like the high shoulder, which gives a futuristic edge to the design.  This piece is now available at Ssense.

Ray of Inspirology: Le Noir

Suvi Koponen is definitely having a great portfolio at the moment. First, she is the campaign face of F/W Alexander McQueen collection, and now she is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris with Mert & Marcus as the photographer.

Countryside is what I can think of when looking at the images. Because the images are shot by Mert & Marcus, I can also feel the surrealism theme of this shoot as well. Everything is perfect here and I hope Suvi will continue having some great works in the near future.

Trendology: Juun.J Charcoal Neoprene Panel Blazer

I am a fan of fancy blazers so this Juun.J piece has instantly become on my wish list.

First of all, I like the charcoal colour of it. Then, the black neoprene paneling is giving a modern touch to the design. At a price point of $1200, I am pretty sure it will be gone fast so act before it is all sold out.

Ray of Inspirology: Super Linda

I have seen a lot of superhero inspired editorials but the following one shot by Steven Klein is definitely having its own edge.

This spread is featured in the latest issue of W Magazine and Linda Evangelista is the only super model in it. Edward Enninful has skillfully mixed and match the latex pieces with the F/W collection pieces and created a S&M/ surreal look for Linda. I really like the retro kind of feeling of this series but at the same time, I also hope there would be some shots featuring Linda against some villains.

Trendology: Marc Jacobs Patent Metallic American Sneakers

Once in awhile, Marc Jacobs will have some interesting shoes for the men and this pair is a good example. When I look at this design, I instantly think of Superman because of the colour combination. Of course, I am a fan of high top and the patent leather. This pair of sneakers has already been on my wish list and hopefully I can have them in my own collection soon!
