Picture Perfect: Panoplies

Ever since the Moschino S/S 2015 fashion show, I know the Barbie fever is going to hit the fashion world. Well, my instinct is right, and this latest editorial is a good prove!

This spread is featured in the December issue of Vogue Paris and it is shot by Giampaolo Sgura. Both Magdalena Frackowiak and Elisabeth Erm are transformed into toy dolls and each image is specifically about a brand. Inside the toy box, aside from the "figure", it also contains accessories to match the outfit. I love this concept a lot and I would love to see an illustration version of it!

Ray of Inspirology: Do Not Distrub

As nosy as I am, sometimes I do want to know what a super model will do in a bathroom and this editorial pretty much answers my question.

This series is shot by Mario Sorrenti and featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Anja Rubik looks stunning in these images and aside from wearing pretty S/S 2013 clothes, her daily routine in the bathroom is actually pretty similar to most of us (except I don't think I will wear expensive clothes when I am going for a shower).

I personally really like the green tiles in this shoot and I think this editorial is my inspiration for my future washroom renovation. What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: New Kid in Town

One of the biggest trends in this season is pants suit, as this injects a masculine factor to the modern women. The editorial below is a very good example of how to wear pants suits in public.

This editorial is shot by Peter Lindbergh and features in the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Arizona Muse is styled by Anastasia Barbieri and she looks very bold. Recine has done a good job on Muse's hair to make her look like a man. The black and white treatment makes the photos to look timeless, which I would love to have them on my bedroom wall. Ray of Inspirology: Le Noir

Suvi Koponen is definitely having a great portfolio at the moment. First, she is the campaign face of F/W Alexander McQueen collection, and now she is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris with Mert & Marcus as the photographer.

Countryside is what I can think of when looking at the images. Because the images are shot by Mert & Marcus, I can also feel the surrealism theme of this shoot as well. Everything is perfect here and I hope Suvi will continue having some great works in the near future.

Ray of Inspirology: Paris Mon Amour Part 1

The most exciting editorial of each season has to be either Vogue Paris or Vogue Italia because both of them will showcase the best pieces from each fashion house. This time, I think Vogue Paris has taken home the trophy with some amazing shots by Mario Sorrenti.

The following is the first part of the editorial and the models are Aymeline Valade, Clément Chabernaud, Isabeli Fontana, Arizona Muse, Suvi Koponen, Doutzen Kroes, Kati Nescher, and Anaïs Mali. Emmanuelle Alt, Marie Chaix and Joe McKenna have once aced the styling department by picking up some amazing pieces. My favourite shot of this set has to be the Alexander McQueen one, it's just breathtaking!

Ray of Inspirology: Premiers Roles

This editorial reminds me why I used to like Crystal Renn...

From the latest issue of Vogue Paris, Crystal Renn and Adrien Sahores are the subjects for photographer Giampaolo Sgura. I love the black and white images as they are very classy and timeless. Crystal Renn nails the series and her eyes are just full of emotion and energy.

I don't know when this shoot took place but I really hope Crystal will go back to this look as soon as possible. The blonde version of her just doesn't work for me.

Ray of Inspirology: Mario Testino for Vogue Paris May 2012

When you have Emmanuelle Alt as the stylist and Mario Testino as the photographer, you pretty much expect this is going to be a good editorial.

From the latest issue of Vogue Paris, Laetitia Casta is dolled up in this amazing spread. Casta looks very pretty in the clothes Alt has picked for this shoot and her expression is intense enough to capture the reader's attention. Out of all the images in this editorial, I just cannot take my eyes off the Giles head piece image. Below are my favourite images and you can click here to see the complete series.

Ray of Inspirology: Cadeaux

As you can see, this issue of Vogue Paris is all about the retro editorials inspiration so this one is no exception.

It is shot by Giamaolo Sgura and features Bianca Balti and Jasmine Tookes (both styled by Geraldine Saglio). I find this editorial to be fun to look at because it has this strong holiday cheer spirit. Every shot has a lot of products in it as if this series is all about what you should shop for Christmas. Out of all the shots, the Gucci and Louis Vuitton one have definitely won my heart! What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: More Than A Woman

Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, you two have made Arizona Muse so edgy and bold! Bravo!

This editorial is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris and it is styled by Emmanuelle Alt. There is a very strong 80s vibe going on in this series and I love the restriction on the gold,white and silver pieces. The colour lights have created a glamour effect on the photos and yes, I have to say this again, Arizona Muse is looking very edgy!

Really, these are some high quality works! Love the entire series!

Ray of Inspirology: Haute Couture

Another great editorial by Inez & Vinoodh!

Featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris, this editorial is all about Haute Couture (well, you can guess by the title of this story). Raquel Zimmermann is styled by Emmanuelle Alt and she is dressed in some great pieces from Chanel, Givenchy and more. As usual, Raquel looks flawless when she is in front of the camera and everything looks so beautiful here. what do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: Paradis Bleu

Sun, beach, blue sky, pretty model in blue outfits and J. Lo. Ok, scratch the last one, but I can tell you this editorial will be more interesting if you are listening to J. Lo latest single.

This editorial is shot by Cedric Buchet for the latest issue of Vogue Paris and it features Karmen Pedaru. The whole series has this summer breezy vibe and the location is perfect. Karmen looks very sexy in all the blue outfits (props to Anastasia Barbieri) and I really cannot find a bad thing to say about this editorial. What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: WANTED!

I am not sure if this series is inspired by a movie or not but regardless, I am in love with the shots!

This editorial is shot by David Sims for the latest issue of Vogue Paris. Emmanuelle Alt has transformed Isabeli Fontana into a cowgirl and she looks absolutely beautiful and cool! The photos are very stunning as I feel like each image is like a oil painting and you can totally hang them on the wall as some expensive art pieces. If you are a cowboy/cowgirl fan, I am sure you will love this set.

This is a stunning beauty editorial!

In the latest issue of Vogue Paris, Inez & Vinoodh shoots Anna de Rijk in this amazing editorial. I am loving the color treatment of the photos and also, the sequin lips and eyes are very refreshing here. This is one amazing reference if you plan to do a edgy beauty editorial in the future.

Ray of Inspirology: Vogue Paris: Daria Werbowy

By the time this post is up, Emmanuelle Alt has already become the editor in chief of Vogue Paris. For this series from the mega editorial, Daria is styled by Emmanuelle and Mario has captured her best shot when she is dressed in Versace and Alexander McQueen. She looks very glamours in the Versace gown and super edgy in the McQueen suit. What do you think?

Ray of Inspirology: Vogue Paris: Freja Beha Erichsen

Just like Natasha, Freja will always be there when there is one high quality amazing editorial. She is styled by Jane here and let me say, Freja's set has my top favorite photo in the whole mega size editorial. The winning photo is the one where Freja dressed in Maison Martin Margiela and is standing in front of  lovely sunset background. If I could have a HQ quality of that photo, I would love to hang it up on my wall. Simply stunning!

Ray of Inspirology: Vogue Paris: Sasha Pivovarova

It's hard for me to decide which photo I like the most in this particular series of Sasha since she gives off a different vibe in each photo. Mario must be a big fan of Sasha because both of her black and white and color set are full of attitude and I need to give props to Jane How for making Sasha looks so lovely and edgy.

Whenever there is amazing editorial, you best bet is, Natasha Poly is going to be there! Here, she is styled by Emmanuelle Alt and Mario has some amazing black and white shots of her. My favorite photo will be her dressed in Emilio Pucci. She just looks very classy in that particular photo.

Joan Smalls is a model I always have my eyes on and I am very happy to see her to be involved in this amazing S/S editorial for Vogue Paris. Mario Sorrenti has captured some of the best expressions from Joan and I wish she could have more shots for this editorial. I am absolutely in love with the photo which she is dressed in Fendi! Such a cute and classy shot! Props to Jane How for the amazing styling!
