Ray of Inspirology: Miu Miu S/S 2014 Campaign

From Lady Gaga to Nicole Kidman, Rihanna to Miley Cryus,  it seems like the fashion brands are all locking down the celebrities to be the faces of their S/S 2014 campaigns. Few days ago, Miu Miu released the new campaign and it involved 4 of the hottest actresses in the world.

These shot are done by Inez & Vinoodh and the cast includes Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Lupita Nyong'o and Bella Heathcote. The photography duo captures the youthful vibe of this collection flawlessly and I like the composition of each image a lot.

Now I am very curious if Miuccia will continue to expand the celebrity roster for her next Miu Miu campaign. For that, we will have the answer by July 2014.

Ray of Inspirology: Miu Miu S/S 2013 Campaign

This is one of the campaigns I can probably stare at it all day long without feeling bored.

The new Miu Miu S/S 2013 campaign is shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and the models are Malgosia Bela, Bette Franke, Martha Hunt, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Arizona Muse, and Tamara Weijenberg. Red is the main colour of this series and Inez & Vinoodh can use this colour cleverly to create a very dark mood. It also helps to make the clothes stand out. Composition is flawless here and each image gives you unlimited imagination on the lives of the Miu Miu girls.

After looking at the images, I can safely say this is one of the strongest Miu Miu campaigns I have ever seen.

Ray of Inspirology: Roberto Cavalli F/W 2012 Promotion Campaign

Roberto Cavalli has released the F/W 2012 campaign images and I love them a lot! The campaign is shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and it features supermodel Daria Webowy. I love the twins idea and also the forest background is really eye popping! What do you think?

Trendology: Inez van Lamsweerde – Vinoodh Matadin: Pretty Much Everything

Yeah, pretty much everything from Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin!

Without a doubt, photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin is one of the most influential fashion photographer groups in the fashion industry. Taschen has recently released a limited edition photography book featuring 666 images of the group's works. It ranges from Alexander McQueen portrait to the duo's Lanvin campaign. I am a fan of Inez & Vinoodh so I am hoping to be able to buy this limited edition book (1000 copies in total, signed and numbered) this year.

Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, you two have made Arizona Muse so edgy and bold! Bravo!

This editorial is featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris and it is styled by Emmanuelle Alt. There is a very strong 80s vibe going on in this series and I love the restriction on the gold,white and silver pieces. The colour lights have created a glamour effect on the photos and yes, I have to say this again, Arizona Muse is looking very edgy!

Really, these are some high quality works! Love the entire series!

Another great editorial by Inez & Vinoodh!

Featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris, this editorial is all about Haute Couture (well, you can guess by the title of this story). Raquel Zimmermann is styled by Emmanuelle Alt and she is dressed in some great pieces from Chanel, Givenchy and more. As usual, Raquel looks flawless when she is in front of the camera and everything looks so beautiful here. what do you think?

This black and white series of CFDA portraits is shot by Inez Van Lamseered and VInoodh Matadin. The designers include here are Simon Spurr, Marc Jacobs, Olsen Twins, Jason Wu, Joseph Altuzarra, Arthur Elgort, Eddie Borgo and Alejandro Ingelmo. The photos are very classy and there is always this Inez Van Lamseered and VInoodh Matadi's bold style that will attract you to look at the photos. My favorite photos are Simon Spurr and Marc Jacobs. If you know the photographer for the campaign is the duo Inez & Vinoodh, then most likely you will expect something bold and edgy.

Jimmy Choo has picked Inez & Vinoodh to shoot the S/S 2011 campaign featuring Crystal Renn. The color is so vibrant and it brings life to the whole campaign. I am liking the two tone background and I think using Crystal Renn for this campaign is such a brilliant choice. Crystal never fail to impress the audience and with this amazing campaign, she proves to us why she will be staying in this industry for a long time! Bravo work to both Crystal and Inez & Vinoodh!

Ray of Inspirology: YSL S/S 2011 Full Promotion Campaign

The new wave promotion campaign for S/S 2011 collection has hit the web and today I am going to show you the first photo of the YSL campaign.

This photo is shot by the dynamic duo Inez & Vinoodh and the model is Arizona Muse. The image is stunning (as it is shot in "gardens of Bled Roknine, a Thirties-style villa in Marrakech") and the warm tint is making the photo more attractive. Now I am looking forward to see the rest of this campaign.

Ray of Inspirology: Major Tom

Out of all the editorials about Tom Ford's new collection, this is the one that is closest to my vision.

This spread is shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vindooh Matadin and it is featured in the latest issue of W Magazine. Here, Lara Stone is dressed in a few signature pieces from Tom Ford latest collection and she looks absolutely beautiful. The backdrops have totally given me the retro look of this shoot and as usual, the lighting for Inez and Vindooh's editorials is always great especially the lights create a very gloomy mood here. Ray of Inspirology: The Brave Ones

W Magazine is seriously going for a great artistic direction and I am loving what I see in this issue.

The Cover and the editorial are both shot by Inez & Vinoodh featuring the new It girls include Kat Dennings, Jessica Chastain, Yaya DaCosta, Greta Gerwig, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Roberts and Zoë Kravitz. Even though I like the cover, I find that the spread inside is much more interesting when each actress has her own solo shot. My top favorite shot will be Yaya DaCosta which I think the composition and expression are flawless here.

The only concern I have is this: Will W change back the old logo? This one is a bit too normal (unless this is their approach). Click here for the complete article.

Ray of Inspirology: Yves Saint Laurent F/W 10 Womenswear Promotion Campaign

This is going to be a classic campaign!

In the latest Yves Saint Laurent womenswear promotion campaign, Inez & Vinoodh, one of the best fashion photography duo, has paid tribute to the YSL ads back in the 1960s. The face for this campaign is Daria Werbowy and she looks very elegant and stunning here. I am loving the stairs and the black and white effect on the photos. These elements make the campaign to look classy and elegant, plus a touch of retro vibe. I hope there will be more photos from this set.

Nice black and white photos will last a lifetime long and I think this editorial spread will be a classic in the near future.

This spread is in the latest issue in Vogue Paris which is shot by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. In this shoot, Penélope Cruz has brought her along with some of her famous friends to be in front of the camera. The setting is simple, the lighting is simple but I really like the results of the shoot. I really have to to tell myself I should start to take black and white photos soon.

Ray of Inspirology: Uniqlo Jeans Campaign 2010

It takes me awhile to fall in love with this Uniqlo Jeans campaign. At first I feel like the prints for this advertisement is similar to CK promotion campaign; however, after I watch the video, I have a different reaction. I feel it is very clean and edgy. I am also attracted by Tao Okamoto in both the print and video. This shoot is done by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

This year, Daria Werbowy has replaced Gisele's spot and becomes the new face for Loewe's S/S 2010 campaign. This photo is photographed by Inez & Vinoodh Daria Werbowy and I really like the color tone and setting of this shot. Of course Daria has done a wonderful job posing in this photo too.
