The Alexander McQueen S/S 2013 campaign has finally arrived and I am very impressed!
These campaign images are once again shot by David Sims and feature Raquel Zimmermann as the face of the collection. Raquel looks like an android to me in the images and I really love the bold lighting style. The honey face will probably be stuck in my head for the rest of the season and I have a very good feeling this might be one of the most iconic images in Raquel's portfolio.
I am sure by this time, many fashion lovers are already hyped up for the release of the "The Very Best of Versace for H&M" collection tomorrow. While I have to admit this collection is probably the best collaboration H&M has done with a high end fashion brand in history, I am not going to talk about it here (as you may have seen 100 posts on other blogs already). Instead, I want to show you some very iconic collaboration videos H&M has done within these few years. Trust me, these are some good inspiration videos!
Let's start with the latest Versace one. I am totally in love with the mad house concept and I am pretty sure the "my house, my rules, my pleasure" phrase will forever stick in my mind. Thanks Donatella.
The second one I want to show you is the Viktor & Rolf video. As you know this duo always shows up together so the ad concept is base on the twins idea. Best part? Raquel Zimmermann gets to marry both designers. What a happy ending.
Featured in the latest issue of Vogue Paris, this editorial is all about Haute Couture (well, you can guess by the title of this story). Raquel Zimmermann is styled by Emmanuelle Alt and she is dressed in some great pieces from Chanel, Givenchy and more. As usual, Raquel looks flawless when she is in front of the camera and everything looks so beautiful here. what do you think?
This campaign is once again shot by David Sims and the model is Raquel Zimmermann. Even though it is only a head shot, because of the ray of lights, somehow this ad becomes very futuristic. What do you think?
Oh Lanvin, you just gave me the best laugh for this season's campaign video.
I was not a fan of Pitbull's I Know You Want Me but after watching Karen Elson, Raquel Zimmermann, Lowell Tautchin, Milo Spijkers & Alber Elbas (yes, Alber dances) dancing to the song, I just cannot help but repeating this video over and over again. I bet you have never imagined people wearing Lanvin and dance! Bravo to Steven Meisel for making this video!
P.S I think Raquel is a better dancer than Karen, what do you think?

I find this campaign to be very funny as I feel like the models are dancing/exercising in some very elegant outfits. I think this series is very fresh and can totally capture the viewer's attention. This series is shot by Josh Olins for the latest issue of i-D. As per usual, Raquel Zimmermann is looking flawlessly in the images. The shadow in the images is making the series more dramatic which I really like. of course, Alastair McKimm has done a really good job for selecting the clothes for this shoot. My favorite shot of this series is the Givenchy one (is sexy and tasteful). Which one is your favourite?

This editorial is shot by Steven Meisel of the latest issue of Vogue Italia. I am absolutely in love with the black and white treatment on the photos and Raquel Zimmermann looks flawless in here. She is so versatile that she can pull off any characters or looks which totally amazed me! Props to Karl Templer for the amazing styling on Raquel as well!
The follow photos are the new promotion campaign for the F/W 2011 Alexander McQueen collection. Raquel Zimmermann is the goddess in this campaign and she is shot by David Sims. I really love the dark and light contrast (setting vs the garments) of this campaign. Yes, it is very haunting, but you have to admit the imaginary reflects the fashion house perfectly. In the latest issue of Vogue Nippon, Inez & Vinoodh has shot Raquel Zimmermann and Stephen Galloway in this stunning editorial. Here, Raquel is wearing some fabulous gowns and she looks very pretty in those dancing photos. Her partner, Stephen is very good in the photos too and I think they have some very nice working chemistry during the shoot. What do you think?
Nick Knight has teamed up with Raquel Zimmermann in one of the editorials for the latest issue of British Vogue. The shots are amazing as Raquel always does her best in shoots. The mood, the photo processing and styling are something I am hoping to achieve in the future. Now, maybe I pay a visit to SHOWstudio in the near future?
Even though I am not a big fan of the Cruise 2011 print campaign for this Gucci this time around, I am very addicted to the video. The models in this campaign are once again Raquel Zimmermann and Nikola Jovanovic. I really love the artistic direction of this video and hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
I am glad there are more photos for this campaign since I love this series so much (yes, the golden chair). Raquel Zimmermann and Nikola Jovanovic are still in this set and I am still surprised the fact that Joan Smalls is no where to be seen in this campaign. If you still do not know, this campaign is shot by Mert and Marcus and I honestly cannot get enough of this set of artistic photos!
Sometime ago, I have posted a video entry about Raquel Zimmermann dancing in Gareth Pugh dress for SHOWstudio. I really think that is a fun video to watch and I cannot believe the Raquel Gareth combination is actually doing another video for Gareth's F/W collection. The concept is similar to the previous video but there are way more clothing to see than the previous one. Just like the last video, I enjoy her dancing a lot!
Last but not least, Gucci has finally released the promotion campaign for their F/W collection. Just like the pre-fall campaign, Mert and Marcus is behind the lens and Raquel Zimmermann and Nikola Jovanovic are the faces for this shoot. The big difference between this and the pre fall campaign is the addition of the gold chair (and no sight of Joan Smalls yet). As usual, I am in love with the photos I see in this campaign and I think the Gold chair actually works well with the models and the background. Now, I hope Gucci will continue this kind of artistic campaign instead of putting everyone in the same photo.
I know Gucci has released some of the photos for the pre fall campaign awhile ago but I do not want to post them till I have the HQ version of them. Now, I think is the time to show one of the best campaign for this upcoming season.
The campaign is photographed by my favorite duo Mert and Marcus featuring models include Raquel Zimmermann and Joan Smalls. I am surprised to know that the campaign is shot on location in Morocco and the sand and the cars are giving a boost to the photos.
Mario Sorrenti has done an interesting editorial for the latest issue of V Magazine with supermodel Raquel Zimmermann. The first photo of her wearing the huge flower head piece is very stunning and her look totally reminds of one of the monsters from Pan's labyrinth. I also love how the wind blows up her dress to create some interesting photos. The rest of the photos are also stunning and the high contrast just works well for me.
Outdoor shoot is always fun but looking for the right location is always the toughest part of the whole project. Norman Jean Roy has recently done an editorial shoot for Vogue and he has used some interesting locations. The one I like the most is Raquel Zimmermann posing with Sam Worthington and I have to admit I like everything that robot is involved.
