Wave of Inspirology: Electric Holiday at Barneys New York

I have been hoping this kind of collaboration will happen in real life and it's finally here! After months of promotion, the Barneys New York holiday video is finally unveiled today!

As you may know, this short animation is a collaboration between Disney and Barneys New York. Minnie Mouse is the center of this story line and the story is about Minnie looking at a Lanvin dress and dreams about walking on the runway in Paris. A lot of fashion celebrities such as Anna Dello Russo, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga and Bryan Boy make a guest appearance in this animation.

If you want to know what is each Disney character wearing in this video, here is the list:

Minnie Mouse - Lanvin (Alber Elbaz)
Mickey Mouse - Balenciaga (Nicolas Ghesquiere)
Goofy - Balmain (Olivier Rousteing)
Daisy Duck - Dolce & Gabbana
Snow White - Nina Ricci (Peter Copping)
Cruella de Vil - Rick Owens
Tiana - Proenza Schouler

Also, don't miss out the Electric Holiday collection as 25% of the sales wil lgo to the American Red Cross disaster relief.

Ray of Inspirology: Disney's Let the Memories Begin Campaign 2011

I have been always hoping the "Let the memories begin" would continue to blossom ever since I saw the last 2 sets back in 2009 and now my wish is granted.

Just like the previous series, these 3 photos are shot by Annie Leibovitz and the celebrities include Penelope Cruz and Jeff Bridges for Beauty and the beast, Olivia Wilde and Alec Baldwin for Snow white and Queen Latifah for Little Mermaid. I am loving the fairy tale setting an each image looks very dreamy and elegant. I hope the dream will continue...

Bravo Annie!

[Un]Discovers: TRON: Legacy Pop Up Shop Featuring Rotenier

Are you excited for TRON: Legacy? Also, have you ever dreamt of owning some fashion pieces that are inspired by the TRON world? If so, you will want to read this!

In this special edition of [Un]Discovers, I am very honored to be able to feature one of the jewelry designers whom has participated in this special TRON: Legacy capsule collection. His name is Robin Rotenier and his brand is called Rotenier.

In this capsule collection, Robin has created accessories for both men and women. For the women collection, there are earrings, cuff bracelets and necklaces which are inspired by the icons in the movie. I am very attracted to the cuff bracelets because they look very classy and futuristic at the same time.

As for the men's line, there are 2 styles of cuff links. One has the TRON lightcycle with the icon TRON helmet as the closure, while the other is inspired by the computer symbols and graphics in the movie. The lightcycle one is definitely something I really want to own and it costs $345.
