For this season, Tom Ford teams up with Lady Gaga and Nick Knight to create a 70s Disco vibe video. Lady Gaga covers Nile Rodger's "I want your Love" as the models are dancing on the music floor! The collection continues to be very fun, sexy and my eyes are on those sequin pieces!

Tom Ford new campaign an as usual, I find the images to be very classy and elegant!

Kati Nescher has become the face of the F/W collection campaign and I like how Ford has shot her in bright colours. Not only do the images look classy, they look very cheerful too! As for the eyewear image, I just cannot get enough of that gold frame sunglasses!

Fashionist[On The Go]: Another VS Angel Is Taking Off!

It's time to dig out some interesting stories from The Fashionist this week!

The new wave of F/W promotion campaign is starting to show up in magazines and Candice Swanepoel is one of the new faces joining the high fashion campaign war. The series is shot by Jeff Burton and I feel like they are all (planned) candid shots. I love the colors as they give weight to the images and as usual, Tom Ford looks very handsome in this set. Tom Ford should just continue to be on magazine's editorial...

Trendology: Tom Ford S/S 2011 Menswear

Tom Ford S/S 2011 menswear lookbook is finally out and the collection does not disappoint me at all.

The lineup of this collection includes smart casual suits, tuxedos, sport jackets and trench coats. As usual, the material Ford uses in the collection is in superb quality and I am happy to see the use of bright colors here. If I have to pick the signature for this season, it will have to be the floral prints blazers. They are simply fun and classy!

Ray of Inspirology: Tom Ford Eyewear S/S 2011 Promotion Campaign

The new Tom Ford Eyewear promotion campaign is here and it is very different than last season!

Just like the previous season, Tom Ford himself is the photographer for this shoot and this time he is using Abbey Lee Kershaw and Arthur Sales to promote the glasses. I am in love with the clothes on Abbey Lee (She is wearing Tom Ford's S/S 2011 collection). The series has a very retro vibe and both models look very stunning here! Don't you feel like you are back in the 80s when you see these photos?

The secret is finally out!

Back in September 2010, Tom Ford had his come back womenswear show in New York and finally the runway video is released! After watching the video, I love the collection more and they look so beautiful and elegant! If you want to see Daphne Guinness and Beyonce in Tom Ford, then this video is a must see for you!

Here comes another editorial by Tom Ford!

In the latest issue of Vogue Paris, not only is Tom a guest editor, but he is always responsible for some editorials. In this one, he invites Betty Catroux, Lisa Eisner, Rachel Feinstein, Marisa Berenson,
Lauren Hutton, Daphne Guinness, Ali McGraw and Victoria Fernandez to be his models. The setting and light set up are very simple but I am liking this simplicity. The ladies just make this series very glamours and classy!

Ah Crystal Renn, this can't be you right?

In the latest issue of Vogue Paris, guest editor Tom Ford has shot a very edgy editorial featuring Crystal Renn. The shoot is all about plastic surgery and I am loving the story telling of this series. Props must go to Carine Roitfeld because the fashion pieces on Crystal are stunning! Because of the lighting, Crystal really looks like a plastic doll here and the photo which she is wrapped by a plastic bag really creeps me out. The style of this shoot is very Tom Ford and since I am always a fan of his works, I enjoy this editorial a lot.

Ray of Inspirology: Mr. Ford Returns

Mr. Tom Ford has finally returned and I am exceptionally excited to see this spread in the latest issue of US Vogue!

This shoot is shot by Steven Meisel and the fashion numbers you see here are all from Ford's S/S 2011 collection. After the private showing in September, the public has been curious on what Tom Ford will be offering for his S/S 2011 collection. This editorial is the first time for the public to see some of the amazing pieces and they look very elegant and classy. The price range from this collection is between $3,500 to $20,000. Consider this is the return collection of Tom Ford, I am sure all the A-listers will be lining up to get a piece of it.

Fashionist[On The Go]: NYFW Madness

As you know New York Fashion Week is probably one of the best weeks in the fashion industry so both Fashionist and this blog have been working hard to bring you the best from all the shows we have seen. Here are some shows I have not talked about but worth the mention!

After 6 years, Tom Ford has decided to launch the womenswear once again. It is a very intimate show which includes a lot of A list celebrities as the models. What makes this show interesting is, there is no photo released for this collection so you will have to use your own imagination to think about the clothes. [Read Here]

On the 2nd last day of NYFW, Marchesa has showcased the S/S 2011 collection at the Chelsea Art Museum. The collection is simply amazing and glamorous and yeah, I expect to see some of them on the red carpet very soon. My favorite will have to be the black to white gown. I can think of one person who can wear it (just ask me) and she will look great in it! [Read Here]

Hi Tom Ford, how can you always capture such nice images for your Eyewear promotion campaign? I am jealous.

In this latest promotion campaign (shot by none other than Tom Ford himself), Nicholas Hoult is chosen by Tom Ford to be the cover boy. Tom's photos are always so classy and elegant and this one is no exception. The lighting simple but the result is ridiculously beautiful. I would love to blow up this photo and hang it on the wall of my room.

Ray of Inspirology: A Single Man in V Magazine

You must have heard of the name Tom Ford as a fashion designer, but do you know that he is also a film director? His first directing debut, A Single Man, will be coming to theatre this Friday in limited release. 

Lately, he has also added photographer to his resume. He has done a photoshoot for V Magazine to promote his movie. When I look at his photos, all I can say he, his shooting style is what I am trying to become and I like the whole shoot a lot. Here are some photos from the spread.
